monster ghost bug

Sorry for my poor English :B

 

Sometimes, monster killed, but not fade out, still left behind a monster ghost with 0 hp on the map.

 

I found that this bug is mentioned in the earlier post: http://herc.ws/board...sible-for-this/

but still not solved.

 

I think that I may find some details to reproduce this bug,

When a monster appears at the edge of player‘s sight area, I cast a long range skill to kill it, while skill animation in progress, the monster move out of sight at the same time, then there is a chance that reproduce the bug scenario.(like a knock back skill)

 

I read the source code, found some clue: there's sort of comment ("Only knockback if it's still alive, otherwise a "ghost" is left behind. [Skotlex]"  line 2708 in skill.c) related to this.

but I'm not familiar with Hercules, I cant fix it.

 

Can someone help me?
