Bug Tracker Migration

June 3rd
Good news everyone! The staff has decided that it is time to slowly kill off this Bug Tracker. We will begin the process of slowly migrating from this Bug Tracker over to our Github Issues which can be found here: https://github.com/HerculesWS/Hercules/issues

Over the next couple of days, I will be closing off any opportunity to create new reports. However, I still will keep the opportunity to reply to existing Bug Reports. Doing this will allow us to slowly fix any bug reports we have listed here so that we can easily migrate over to our Issue Tracker.

Update - June 7th 2015: Creating new bug posts has been disabled. Please use our https://github.com/HerculesWS/Hercules/issues tracker to post bugs. Users are still able to reply to existing bug posts.

Lex Divina - Cutting in too soon

Background:
When casting Lex Divina on a monster/player, an about 1.6 s long animation (over the head of the target) and sound (priest_lexdivina.wav looped 3 times) starts.
Though Lex Divina itself has no casttime, the resulting mute effect, or rather its accompanying emoticon and sound (_silence.wav) don't start in the moment of casting, but are delayed slightly. It's the extend of this delay that shows deviations from official servers.

Problem:
This delay or grace period seems to be around 1.2 s on the official servers I know (both pre-renewal and renewal). It is, to my knowledge, irreducible. The exact value I got from analyzing the skill on present IRO via sound recording in an audio editor was 1168 ms.

On eAthena, on the other hand, this delay, if there actually is one, can't be greater than 10-30 ms from my measurements. I haven't found much in the way of this in the source code yet, so I'm betting on there being none atm.

Having no delay makes priest gameplay very snappy, I have to admit, but it feels rather unauthentic and doesn't give the victim of lex divina a chance to do a few last skills before being silenced...
