The codification of all the GitHub files must be UTF-8 .. many files with gibberish characters have this problem:

What a nice editor I have, turns � into beautiful symbols.
While this indeed is an issue it's not severe.
You're not supposed to understand those things anyways as they're Giant or Fairy-ish, meaning you need a Ring of the Wise King to talk to them properly.

this problem can affect source files, which then breaks compiling, so yes its severe.
I think we need to find a way to make Git read all the files as ANSII .. i have cloned the repostory and sometimes the files looks like normal and other times i see only "⌒ ⅳ⌒ ⅳ⌒ ⅳ⌒ ⅳ⌒ ⅳ⌒ ⅳ⌒ ⅳ⌒ ⅳ⌒ ⅳ⌒ ⅳ⌒ ⅳ"

Hmm that happened when we commited the whole emulator without changing the charset xD

about quests_dicastes.txt , its github problem, when you clone, you will see properly.
