Bug Tracker Migration

June 3rd
Good news everyone! The staff has decided that it is time to slowly kill off this Bug Tracker. We will begin the process of slowly migrating from this Bug Tracker over to our Github Issues which can be found here: https://github.com/HerculesWS/Hercules/issues

Over the next couple of days, I will be closing off any opportunity to create new reports. However, I still will keep the opportunity to reply to existing Bug Reports. Doing this will allow us to slowly fix any bug reports we have listed here so that we can easily migrate over to our Issue Tracker.

Update - June 7th 2015: Creating new bug posts has been disabled. Please use our https://github.com/HerculesWS/Hercules/issues tracker to post bugs. Users are still able to reply to existing bug posts.

DB error in last SVN 12940.

[DB]: DB error - data of field 'equip' was truncated.
[Debug]: column - 3
[Debug]: data   - type=UNSIGNED MYSQL_TYPE_LONG, length=2
[Debug]: buffer - type=UNSIGNED MYSQL_TYPE_SHORT, length=2

I am using svn 12940. and update sqlfiles 2013-10-27--16-47.sql.

It can't remember any equitments.

I can conform that, equipments will disappear when I switch equipment window tab and

there are unknown item equipments appear on my equipment window, I can't take them off

and cause my client to crash when I go into a warp portal or re-login my Character

Cant confirm on latest REV with PRE-RE Mode

I'm unable to reproduce this, can you provide more details, especially on when the SQL error exactly appears?

Make sure you clean, rebuild and restart your server completely, including the char server (if you're running Linux/UNIX, make clean && make sql)

only 1 items shows per tab.also at some case, it crashes my client. I tried on a clean SVN.same issue. tried on renewal and pre-re and still no luck.items are in the sql. they are not just showing properly ingame.

I also can't reproduce, make sure you rebuild from scratch ('clean solution' in msvc,'make clean' on gcc)

I redownloaded Hercules and its working fine. My old one still have this error. o.O I copied my old script and other src mods and transfered the edited files to the newly downloaded Hercules and works fine. I don't know what happened. They have the same files, both old and new but the old one is having errors and new one is working fine

**EDIT** warped and item got missing again. :((

It happens when player change map

Confirmed.. and when you use @dropall, all the missing items will drop..

I reverted back several times and items showed up again in Rev 12936. I think its more of a source error between 12937-12941. Using 2013-08-07Ragexe. Compiled with VS12. Items will go missing after you warp, refreshed. They are in the inventory but invisible and only 1 items is seen.

I slept for 2 days and 2 nights....

I now go to the next test in clean SVN...


I found a problem,
Use clean SVN. Will crash my 2013087client.

I am going to change my clients to english version, and try it again.

i Only was able to reproduce this bug in Renewall Mode .

tested on a Clean Freshly SVN and on my Private Server

changed status to: Fixed

Found  issues:

1. I can't refine EQI_SHADOW_ACC_L  by using @refine command, then
    after change  j < EQI_MAX-1 to  j < EQI_MAX , problem solved.
    Does it mean that all the 'var < EQI_MAX-1' should change to  'var < EQI_MAX'   in src folder ?

2.  The arrow  can be refined now by using  @refine command. It should be skip  in refine
  checking loop.
